Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her mother is English and half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descendance. Her mother hails from Spanish and English descendance. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four are of her father's previous marriage. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been traumatic, and refused to study English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the switched from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. At the age of 16, she decided to leave school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
