Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14th of 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at just one Games as well as the first gymnast who won three consecutive titles in the world's all-around competition (2013-15). Biles and the younger of her sisters Adria were taken in by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles took home a gold medal in vault and floor during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships of 2010. She then made her debut at the top levels of competing. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. What set Biles aside was her consistency her vibrant personality as well as the extreme level of difficulty she integrated into her workout routines for the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and the floor workout.
