Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actor who is best famous for her character House in the Fox medical drama House. When she turned 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne in the state of Wayne, where she was raised according to strict Jewish customs. Her performance quickly made her a part of the New York club scene. Her performances were so captivating that local media took notice. She utilised both her training in music and fame to write and perform in a new musical, Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered an interview with MTV as host of Awake to the Wild Side. Once it went off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production, initially in short roles but then gradually becoming an actress.
