Kari Samantha is an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on the 28th of April, 1967). She began her acting career when she was just a teen. She is most known for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders and also her role as her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as her mother was Karin Noble who was employed as a payroll clerk, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. The youngest of three children. As a child She sang in clubs and went out to perform. Following her studies in acting at the Wooster School, at 13 years old, she studied drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. She also studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under the renowned Uta Hagen. Her birth date was the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her mother works as a payroll accountant, and her father, a German-American, is a policeman and automobile salesperson. Kari was born in an extended family that included four members. As a teenager performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself in secret, escaping to take a break. Kari started studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Then she studied acting at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College in addition to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, with Uta Hagen who was a famous instructor. Kari was first introduced to acting at the age of 13, and she got her first big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
