A.J. Cook A.J. Cook, the Canadian actor, best known for playing Jennifer Jareau (JJ) on The Criminal Minds and The Virgin Suicides in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He is also famous for other roles. Cook's television credits include Dead Like Me and Tru Calling. She is an Mormon as well as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a student of dance, tap and jazz classes in her early years. When she reached 17 that she began acting. She'd competed in numerous dance contests. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze became her motivation to becoming an actor. Cook got married to her husband Nathan Andersen in August 2001. Cook got to know Nathan Andersen at Utah Valley University which is where she attended a class on film. Mekhai Allan Andersen is the Andersen's son. Born in September of 2008. She lives in Los Angeles
